I am a psychotherapist treating a wide range of issues and specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating/compulsive overeating, and obesity, as well as co-occurring addictions, mood disorders, and physical ailments. I help clients gain insight while practicing healthier behaviors to participate in life, cope with feelings, decrease isolation, and build relationships. I appreciate the role long-standing eating-disordered patterns play in the lives of my clients and their families.

I offer a warm, supportive, confidential place where clients learn to expand their lives beyond self-destructive patterns that harm their bodies and hinder relationships. I help clients cultivate a sense of hope, connection, purpose, and inner well-being: a feeling that they'll be "taken care of" and things will be okay no matter what. I treat all ages, families, and couples, and often help form a treatment team: psychiatrists, nutritionists, dentists, acupuncturists, and integrative medicine practitioners.

I am also versed in working with clients in 12 step programs. I completed post-masters training in the integrative treatment of eating disorders at the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia in New York City.
